QUALITY WESTERN RIDING CHAPS MADE TO MEASURE

All chaps are made to your requirements. Shotgun are usually made from 3/4oz suede or 3/4oz garment and can have drops at the heel for show use. Belts can be self colour or contrasting out of chap material, or can be made in heavier leather that can be plain or tooled. Fringes, if required, can be self colour or contrasting, and contrasting overlays can be fitted, as can silver conchas. Chinks are usually 3/4oz suede with fringes; pockets can be fitted, belt options as shotgun. Batwings for heavier work use are made from 5/6oz top grain and usually have a heavier belt that can be tooled or left plain. Again pockets are an option. Belt buckles can be brass or nickel, plain or engraved. You tell us your requirements.

First decide on belt height. Western chaps usually sit low so as to give clearance for your jeans belt and buckle. Measure height from crotch to top of belt and ‘waist size’ where the belt is to fit. Measure inside leg from crotch to where the chaps are to finish. Take all measurements over the legwear you will use with the chaps. Give us the measurement you require - that is, if you want them skin tight, give us skin tight measurements. If you want a comfort fit, take the measurement accordingly. Take the knee measurement with the knee bent. Take all measurements in inches.
